In Blood Witch Spell casting (I'll reffer to it as "blood crafting" ) there are 4 sub deities and 1 head deity. You can say the four sub-deities, or demigods are each a unique piece of the whole, where the sum is greater than its parts. The head deity is known as "Baphomet" , but in blood craft you work with the demigods as they will provide boons (favors) for the sacrifice of your own blood or something red in color that represents blood, such as red ink. There is one god, and one goddess, one demon, and one demoness. Each has it's own polar opposite, and each deity reins over certain aspects of existence. Here is a list of the demigods, thier planets, and what they rein over:
Sun Amaterasu Omikami: Goddess of the sun, fertility, love, harvest, and comfort
Pluto Shitala: Demoness of disease, destruction, and mishap
Mars Yawata: God of war, bravery, and will
Moon Morpheus: Demon of dreams, pleasure, creativity
Get to know the names, planets, and what these demigods rein over as you will use this knowledge often in blood craft. You don't want to get them mixed up because it can result in unwanted effects. Sometimes very bad ones if you make the wrong mistake. Other times wrong mixtures can result in bizzare effects or no effect at all.
Another part of blood crafting you should get to know well is the elements. The elements have many purposes in this art. They can convey types of actions, desires, and outcomes. They are almost like a type of language, and when coupled with one of the demigods they make a sort of "divine statement". Here is a list of the elements in thier corresponding colors:
earth
water
wind
fire
void
As a beginner you should familiarize yourslelf with the concept of balance and neutrality. For every step forward you must take a step back. I know when i put it like that it kinda sounds like you will go nowhere, but it's more like keeping the left wing in sync with the right wing so you can maintain smooth and effortless flight. Alot of creative thought is used in this crafting system as no one is there to tell you what to do. You have to create the ground in front of you with your own abilities in order to take a step foward on it. I can only give you the tools, you must learn to use them properly to achieve what you desire.
Being a blood witch is a very creative and mysterious path to tread. You will never stop learning and refining your craft. There is no such thing as a "master" in blood crafting. you only become more and more seasoned with practice, study, creation, and time.
